The community, school staff and the children were waiting patiently and received the visitors with song of praise and dances. After viewing the Matengu community school they preceded to Sikabimba to view a classroom and an office block. Lunch was prepared, a typical Zambian meal of Nshima, chicken and vegetables.
As evening drew closer the team proceeded to Siachabakubi, the drums could be heard some miles away. The community members were busy dancing with wild smiles. The team could not hold themselves and they joined in the dancing. Time was running out and the dancing just had to be stopped for the people to prepare for the evening.
The team was divided into pairs to go and spend nights in different families. They had an opportunity to see how food is prepared the Zambia way. After supper everyone gathered at the school to dance the night away. The drumming and dancing was splendid no one had an ideal moment. To make it more interesting, Alf, a prominent young Musician from Norway joined in with his saxophone and dancing. They finally had to retire to bed, they spent their nights in a tent. Early next morning they joined in the family chores, some went farming, others swept the outside surrounding and they later had breakfast with the families.
