Idah Mufuzi is a member of a Self-Help Group (SHG) in Kamusima. The group is six years old. She had a few words to say. “I’m a single mother of two children. I had a problem of finding money before i joined the shg, but now i have money to open a grocery store and i am able to pay back the money i borrowed from the group with interest. And from the profit made from the store, I am able to pay school fees for my children. One is in Grade 7 and the other is in Grade 12 (2015).” She is planning on extending her grocery store this year (2016).
