We recently welcomed two new volunteers in our YSEP-FK program, Henry from Norway and Bacary from Tanzania. We thought we should get to know them a little bit better. They will be around for 10 whole months working in our rural areas and we sure hope the experience will be rewarding and positive for them. We are very excited to have them here with us in Zambia so with out further ado, here is a little something about Henry.
My name is Henry Edvardsen, and this year I will be one of two YSEP-volunteers at Response Network. I’m 25 years old, and I was born in beautiful Sandnessjøen of the coast of Norway.
Before I came to Zambia, I studied development studies at the university of Agder. I love playing football, so being a sports volunteer in a development-NGO is truly a dream come true for me.
I will be based in Siakasipa for the next ten months, and I am very excited to finally get going!
We will be getting to know Bacary from Tanzania in a few weeks so stay tuned.
