New Livingstone city Mayor

Livingstone city has a new Mayor who was inaugurated on the 9th of April, 2014. A mayor is put in office through voting of councilors representing different wards in a city. The new mayor Mr. Milford Mambo takes over from Aggrey Njekwa, who served his two terms diligently and managed to host the 2013 UNWTO (United Nations World Tourism Organization). A mayor’s term of office is 2 years and six months but can still run for a second term if re-elected. However, a mayor cannot run for a 3rd term. Milford Mambo is not a new person to Response Network, as he is also a well known independent auditor and has worked with Response Network.
