Since working hours here are similar to home, Monday to Friday 8-17, we use the weekends to find out more about the surroundings.

This weekend we went to a little island in Zambezi River between Zambia and Zimbabwe. An oasis in the jungle. Sleeping in little fishing huts, totally open except from some roof of grass. Listening to birds, bugs, frogs and hippos. Went fishing Tigerfish in canoes made of wood. Watched elephants come down for water and regretted that I, in the middle of the river, asked the fisherman how many crocs there were in the river; “Oh there are so many, can even count them”.
